NumLocate is not open yet. This page explains, plainly, what happens to data when you visit numlocate.com today.
1. What this site is today
numlocate.com is an information page about a service we are building. The locating service is not running: you cannot use it here, and nothing on this site sends a request to anyone’s phone.
2. What we collect
- The number you type into the form — it stays in your browser. Submitting shows a “coming soon” message; the number is never sent to us and never stored.
- Your email address — only if you choose to write to us at [email protected].
- Aggregate traffic data such as pages viewed, country and referring site, so we can see which markets are interested. It does not identify you.
3. Cookies and tracking
We set no advertising cookies and build no profiles. We do not follow you across other sites, and we do not sell or share data with data brokers.
4. Your rights
If you have written to us, you can ask us to delete that correspondence at any time at [email protected]. Depending on where you live — in the EU under the GDPR, for example — you also have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your data.
5. When the service opens
Locating a phone will only ever work after the person receiving the request taps to approve it. Before anyone can use the service we will publish an updated policy covering location data specifically. Nothing above concerns location, because today we process none.
6. Changes and contact
If what we collect changes, we will update this page and the date above. Questions: [email protected].
